Hose levelling system

The hose-based spirit level is a simple and genial way of measuring settlement displacements with a high level of accuracy. Two communicating vessels are interlinked with each other by means of a hose, which contains a liquid. The level of the liquid is read off by analogue means on a scale. Vertical displacements are shown on the scale since the water level naturally attempts to reach equilibrium between the vessels.

The system is simple to use and can be easily adapted for different areas of use.
